Rovos Rail - Southern and Eastern Africa

Established in 1989, Rovos Rail is one of Africa's most luxurious trains. Travel in style throughout Southern Africa. Countries to explore include South Africa, Namibia, and Tanzania. Instead of being a one-way or one-line train, hop on the Rovos Rail from many cities. For example, travel from Cape Town to Pretoria in South Africa; Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania to Lobito, Angola; or Pretoria to Victoria Falls, Zambia and Zimbabwe. There are other possible excursions as well. Take in some of southern Africa's scenic prairies, countrysides, and the Great Escarpment mountainous region on board the Rovos Rail!

The Blue Train - South Africa

Are you excited about traveling all around South Africa? Hop aboard the Blue Train! Explore Capetown, the South African capital, and other cities including Worcester and Bloemhof on the way to Pretoria. Established in 1946, the Blue Train line is South Africa's go-to for domestic or international travelers. On this 1600-mile journey, take in the beautiful plateau, prairie, and mountainous landscapes of South Africa.

Shongololo Express

Traverse through the southern and eastern part of South Africa on the Shongololo Express. This train originally follows the same route as the Rovos Rail line. Then, cut corners through Swaziland, allowing for more time along the coast. This southern Africa adventure concludes by traveling through Pretoria and ending in Johannesburg, two of South Africa's major cities.
